The Glow worm Clearly Solar Twin Coil Solar Cylinder at PlumbNation is an unvented, stainless steel cylinder and the Glow worm Solar Cylinder is narrow enough to fit through any standard airing cupboard door.
The Glow worm Clearly Solar Furocyl Twin Coil Solar Cylinder is part of the Glow worm Clearly Solar Heating System. A typical Glow worm Clearly Solar System will provide a typical UK household of between 50% and 60% of domestic hot water in a year.
The Glow worm Twin Coil Solar Cylinder ensures that every last bit of the suns energy is used by the solar gain modulation (working with the controller and pump station), steadily pulsing the solar fluid into the bottom coil of the cylinder, evenly heating the domestic hot water and ensuring that the boiler does not fire up until it really needs to.
The special construction of the coils inside the Glow worm cylinder, ensures that the top coil will reliably heat the top 2/3 of the cylinder delivering high volumes of hot water during winter months when there is less solar energy.
