The Grundfos UPE range of 'intelligent' circulators are a further development to the popular UPS/UPSD range. The integrated micro frequency converter makes the pump 'intelligent' and offers functions of constant pressure setting, start/stop, operating and fault indications, reduced night-time duty and an option for remote control (via the R100 hand held controller) direct from the terminal box.

The Grundfos UPE Series can automatically control differential pressure, providing constant or proportional pressure control as needed. It has been proven that this can provide energy savings over non-controlled pumps of upto 50%, giving this range of pumps an A Rated energy label.
