Many units can also include a built-in basin so you can combine storage with essential fixtures. Fully inset basins can be fitted discretely into the countertop with no protrusion from over the countertop for optimum space saving.

Basin Furniture

Cloakrooms offer very little space, however there are innovative furniture designs to create storage such as cloakroom basins. These can include useful features such as drawers or cupboards below the basin and a handy towel rail.

Rectangular basins can be placed anywhere such as difficult and redundant areas like the corner of the room. Or you could choose a corner basin, which has been purposely shaped to fit into the right angle corner of a room.

Toilet

Wall-hung and back to wall toilets have an obvious space-saving advantage because the cisterns are concealed. Wall-hung toilets have a further benefit in smaller bathrooms as only the toilet bowl is exposed, creating the illusion of space as the toilet is suspended above the ground.

Toilets are also available with a cistern shaped to fit snugly into the corner of the cloakroom. These are a great alternative to make the most of space that is often considered redundant.
