I was replacing a seat that got broken, so found the detailed measurements provided on this site very useful to ensure that the replacement would fit, which it does. The seat came with good instructions and was very easy to fit. The soft closing is fine and it is very easy to take off and refit the whole seat for a hygenic clean. My only criticism is that the plastic of the seems a bit thin and flimsy compared to the original seat.
