Podium low-profile shower trays are up to 60% lighter than traditional stone resin alternatives, making them easier to transport, position and install. Their lightweight design allows a single installer to safely handle and fit the tray, helping to reduce installation time and effort.
Built-In Anti-Slip Technology
Podium shower trays feature a permanently integrated anti-slip surface designed to provide exceptional grip underfoot. Independently tested to the HSE-approved BS 7976:2 Pendulum Slip Test, they achieve a score of 71 – more than double the required pass mark of 35.
Unlike applied coatings, the textured anti-slip finish is built directly into the tray surface, ensuring long-lasting performance without the need for replacement. Simply clean it in the same way as a standard shower tray.
Cut To Fit
These low-profile quadrant shower trays can be cut and shaped to suit awkward spaces and bespoke bathroom layouts, offering greater installation flexibility. This allows a Podium tray to be fitted in locations where conventional shower trays may not be suitable.
Please note that while acrylic-capped trays can be cut, any exposed edge should be properly sealed to minimise the risk of water ingress.
