What is a dry trap tundish?
A dry trap tundish handles discharge from your hot water cylinder, but unlike a traditional tundish, a dry trap tundish features a trap mechanism that prevents the release of odours or gasses.
Impressive performance and efficiency
The Reliance RWC 15mm x 32mm Dry Trap Tundish boasts backflow prevention for Category 5 fluids, an AA type air gap, and a spring loaded mechanism. Additionally, the tundish incorporates a waste trap, saving time and cost when installing a discharge pipe into a soil or waste pipe. It is designed to take any discharge that may occur from either a Pressure Relief Valve or a Pressure & Temperature Relief Valve fitted to an unvented hot water cylinder. The specially designed seal prevents odours or gases from entering the building, while still allowing discharged water to be conveyed to waste safely.
