You can set your preferred schedules and boost your heating all from the Hive app, or if you don't have your phone to hand, you can always ask Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant to do it for you. If need be, you can use the simplified controls on the thermostat to set the temperature and switch between modes, allowing mini to do the rest.

With built-in frost protection, you won't need to worry about your pipes freezing during the winter months. If the temperature drops below 7°C, the mini thermostat will turn your heating on automatically to prevent freezing and keep your water flowing.
