It's pretty easy to replace a malfunctioning RSP50 (which lasted less than 8 years before starting to stick when needed to activate) with the RP50PT - provided you remember to turn off all four inline valves first, not three as I did, which made it a bit wet at first! It's quieter, although the difference is not as much as some of the reviews seemed to suggest it would be, but it's fine. Couldn't get the online guarantee registration to recognise the serial number, but the online chat assistant assured me it's registered now. So yes, wife and daughters no longer grumbling about the showers not working, it turns on every time. Hope it lasts at least eight years too...

Great pump, the pressure is 100 times better now. Back to have great showers again.
Only negative would be considering this is supposed to be one of the quietest pumps out there it is still fairly noisy. Have the pump in my upstairs airing cupboard.
