The business was taken a step further over 30 years later when his son established a pharmaceutical lab in Instanbul and within a few years, Turkey's first ceramic sanitaryware factory was established in 1958 and VitrA was born. VitrA has continued to grow steadily, now supplying millions of ceramic sanitaryware pieces each year across the globe.
